65th Filmfare 2020 : Full List of Winners

The 65th Filmfare Awards procession, cited by The Times Group, venerated as the promising
Indian Hindi-language flicks of 2019. The procession was clasped on 15 February 2020 in
Guwahati and broadcast on Colors TV the succeeding day. Karan Johar and Vicky Kaushal
were hosts of the award ceremony.

The Filmfare Awards are a set of glories that honour artistic and technical excellence in the
Hindi-language film industry of India. The Filmfare procession is one of the extensively
acclaimed and esteemed film events in India.


Here’s the detailed winner’s list of 65th Amazon Filmfare Awards 2020:


Best Film- Gully Boy
Orchestrated by Zoya Akhtar, Gully Boy was a typical underdog anecdote in which Murad
(Ranveer Singh) communicates the toil of his life and other social issues through rap. Despite
confronting various setbacks, Murad soars to the apex with the backing of his mentor MC Sher
(Siddhanth Chaturvedi) and his love Safina (Alia Bhatt).


Best Director- Zoya Akhtar for Gully Boy


Best Film (Critics) – Article 15 (Anubhav Sinha) and Sonchiriya (Abhishek Chaubey)

Racism is still a considerable theme that prevails in our community. With Article 15, director
Anubhav Sinha battles the issue by illustrating a story through the eyes of an upright city-bred
cop officer splashed by Ayushmann Khurrana, who commences an attack against the age-old
tradition of caste-based discrimination in India.

Alia Bhatt brings back her emotive charisma with the description of Safina in Gully Boy. She’s
an antagonistic young woman who beats up girls who trifle with her boyfriend. Her rendition is
so tremendous that you’re always left yearning for more.


Best Actress (Critics) – Bhumi Pednekar and Taapsee Pannu for Saand Ki Aankh


Best Actor In A Supporting Role (Female) – Amruta Subhash for Gully Boy
