The blockbuster stars big names like N. T. Rama Rao Jr. and Ram Charan as fictional characters as they fight against the British Raj. With a total gross of ₹944 crore, RRR, a Telugu-language movie directed by S. S. Rajamouli is the most expensive Indian movie to be made to date.
4) 2.0
This sequel to the 2010 movie ‘Robot’, broke all the records from its former as well when it was released in 2018. With 800 crores at the box office, this sci-fi with south superstar Rajinikanth and Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar as villain deals with the themes of society and environment in a very creative way. Directed by S. Shankar, this is the second most expensive Indian movie to be made after RRR.
5) Dangal

I hate seeing 2.0 on the top. I know the stardom of Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar and the money invested in the movie & graphics but I really don’t like that movie.
