Tom Holland vs Tobey Maguire vs Andrew Garifield – Who is the best spider man?

Spider-Man is one of the most popular Hollywood movies enjoyed by all age-groups. Today we will be looking at the best actor who has played the role of Peter Parker. Let us not forget that Tobey Maguire was the first Peter Parker we saw on the screen. The spectators saw him as Peter Parker in Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Man 3. Tobey Maguire was replaced by Andrew Garfield who played in The Amazing Spider-Man and The Amazing Spider-Man 2.  Tom Holland entered the group with Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Tom Holland

Tom Holland is considered to be the most pitch-perfect Peter Parker- more than anyone else. Holland possesses Maguire’s sincerity and Garfield’s exuberance. Tom Holland has also taken part in the Marvel cinematic Universe. It is his fifth appearance as Spider-Man following 2016’s: Captain America :Civil war ,2017 Spider-Man Homecoming,2018 Avengers : Infinity war and 2019 Avengers: Endgame. Holland has appeared in more movies than Maguire and Garfield. He is quite young and has the mixture of wonder and responsibility. That is what makes him the best.

 Nevertheless, as an action hero Tom Holland’s Spider Man is still trying to get his bearings. He is like a kid trying to learn how to drive and thus does not make him a great action star.

Tobey Maguire

The original big screen Spider-Man, Maguire embodied almost everything Peter Parker is about his warmth, his struggle with responsibility and his commitment to be a hero. Nonetheless,  he is much loved by the audience but something which lacks is the sense of humour which we find in Tom Holland. Maguire  is always sticking in fan’s minds for portraying the character first and also doing it well,  especially in Spider-Man 2.

As an action hero Tobey Maguire had to rely on punches and kicks. It seemed that the audience enjoyed the thrills provided by this action beat. The Spider-Man fight sequences often capture the style and sensationalism of the character

Andrew Garfield

Quite famous with girls Andrew Garfield is a great actor. But Peter is supposed to be nervous and nerd and Garfield was just too cool and that’s why he might not be the successful Peter Parker. His charming  nature has really won the hearts of the audience. Garfield Spidey never lost Peter’s wit and charm keeping the character lovable and fun even when his circumstances seemed pretty dire.  It is really too bad that his movies never matched to live up to people’s expectations.

 Due to Garfield’s physicality and the director Marc Webb’s extra effort on how to make him a Spider-Man, the action scenes feel like what a real spider person would do in the middle of a fight. It makes the scenes more realistic  since the physical movements were  unique and  distinctive.
