VIRAL INDIAN VIDEOS OF 2021 THAT TOOK THE INTERNET BY STORM

2021 has been a long and unforgettable year. We spent the most of 2021 at home, just as we did in the year before that, as we battled another year of COVID-19 and constraints. As memes and videos placed joy and laughter of individuals worried about their wellbeing, jobs, and futures, as well as the futures of their dear ones, social media prospered more than ever. Many of the videos below became viral on the internet and were, at one time, the only thing people could speak about.  So here are a few videos to take you down the memory lane:  

Pawri Ho Rahi Hai

‘Pawri Ho Rahi Hai,’ a quick video by Pakistani influencer Dananeer Mobeen, was undoubtedly the most viral video of 2021. The video went viral and sparked a meme frenzy, which only expanded after artist Yashraj Mukhate produced a remix of the video. Pawri Ho Rahi Hai became a social media obsession, with people sharing memes and their own renditions of the popular statement.

Bachpan Ka Pyaar

Sahdev Dirdo, a young child from Chhattisgarh, provided the voice for the viral Bachpan Ka Pyaar film, which went viral and was even replicated by celebs. After his rendition of the 2019 song went popular on social media, he was congratulated by Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel. Huge numbers of people couldn’t get more of the boy’s music, and it shattered the net.

Shweta and her mic

Due to a major leaked Zoom call of a virtual classroom in which a female called Shweta neglected to mute her mic, #Shweta trended on Twitter in India, and users inundated the topic with jokes. As a consequence, Shweta’s personal conversation with a pal, in which she divulged sensitive facts about a man, became public. In the viral video, the girl discloses some personal information about a male who had begged her to keep it private. Fellow students try to tell her that her microphone is turned on, but she is too preoccupied with her phone to notice.

Dr KK Aggarwal’s wife scolds him on call while he’s Live

Dr. KK Aggarwal, a Padma Shri laureate and past President of the Indian Medical Association (IMA), was caught on camera conversing to his wife during a livestream, and the video went viral. Dr. KK Aggarwal got vaccinated against COVID-19 during the first phase of vaccination without informing his wife, who is also a doctor, and had to deal with her fury over the phone. Sadly, following a protracted struggle with coronavirus, the 62-year-old cardiologist passed away a few weeks afterwards.

2 med kids perform to the sounds of Boney M’s 1978 hit single Rasputin in this famous dance video taken in the hallway of Thrissur Medical College in Kerala. The video went popular on social media, garnering over a million likes on Instagram and sparking a debate.

Man mistakes Cipla’s Remdesivir for Remo D’Souza

Remo D’Souza, a dancer and director, responded amusingly to a viral video in which a guy mispronounces the Remdesivir injection’s name as ‘Remo D’Souza.’ “Don’t miss the end,” the choreographer captioned the video, which he published on his Instagram account. The guy may be seen in the video chatting to a news reporter about the pricing of drugs during the country’s health crisis. ‘Cipla company ka injection Remo D’Souza,’ he adds next, as the scenario loops for hilarious effect. The Instagram photo received millions of likes and views.

Delhi aunty rushes to liquor store before lockdown, says alcohol is better than medicine

When Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal declared a week-long shutdown in April 2021, hundreds flocked to alcohol outlets throughout the city to load up. An older woman was in line to buy booze when she begged the authorities to keep wine shops running during the lockdown, and her epic response went viral. According to the woman, no vaccination can ever compare to alcohol since alcohol is the only true medication. Many people were impressed by the elderly woman’s brazen attitude, while others developed memes and jokes based on her humorous response.

India’s first athletics gold at the Olympics

Neeraj Chopra BROKE the internet with his record-breaking javelin throw in the Tokyo Olympics 2020, bringing home the first ever GOLD in athletics.

Mirabai Channu, a weightlifter from the Northeastern region of India, brought home a SILVER medal on the very first day of te Tokyo Olympics 2020! Not only that, she is one of the only two people who have won an Oympic medal for weightlifting!

Wife tries to kiss husband during the zoom call

Another zoom call disaster came from India, where a lady attempted to kiss her hubby while he was on a conference. The speaker can be seen discussing in a professional voice about how GDP impacts the exporting company as the video begins. His wife unexpectedly enters his zoom call session and attempts to kiss him. But he instantly steps back and indicates that he’s on a video conference by pointing to his screen. Harsh Goenka and Anand Mahindra both retweeted the video, dubbing the woman “wife of the year.” Thousands of people watched the video.

Doctors in PPE kits cheer Covid patients by dancing to Sochna Kya song

Staff at Parul Sevashram Hospital in Vadodara, Gujarat, were seen dancing to cheer up COVID patients in a beautiful viral video. On the song ‘Sochna Kya, Jo Bhi Hoga Dekha Jayega…’ from the 1990 Sunny Deol film ‘Ghayal,’ several physicians and nurses wearing PPE kits were shown exercising and dancing. Some patients chimed in with the physicians’ dancing by rising or dancing as much as they could while seated on their cots.

Anita Gupta’s response to discovering a Gucci belt for Rs 35000 had folks laughing. She couldn’t believe her eyes and teasingly told her child that this belt could be purchased for Rs 150. The desi mother from Ranchi became a worldwide phenomenon when her video was loved and shared millions of times.

African Siblings

Kili Paul and Neema Paul, Tanzanian siblings, were show stealers after their video became a popular with the Indian public. The pair has been replicating traditional Indian songs and videos from their hometown, which have been well received by the public. The most popular was their rendition of Raatan Lambiyaan, which was shared by Bollywood stars Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani.

Indiranagar Ka Gunda

An advertisement succeeded in making Rahul Dravid break his calm in a way that even the best bowlers and greatest competitors couldn’t. The former India captain tackles the Bengaluru traffic snarls and rages behind the wheel in a commercial for the credit card bill payment app Cred. In less than a day, the video has received over 3 million views throughout social media sites.

Ireland President’s Cute Dog

Mid-interview, the Irish president’s beloved dog grabs the show with an endearing demand for petting. What makes the video even more interesting is President Higgins’ professional continuation of his address while providing periodic rubs to the cute puppy. Netizens went awww over this lil cutie!

Baba Ka Dhaba

Last year, the ‘Baba Ka Dhaba’ kitchen in Malviya Nagar, Delhi, was a hot subject on the net. The incident began with a video by food blogger Gaurav Wasan, in which he showcased the hardship of an older couple selling fresh food in South Delhi. The male is also seen crying in one portion of the footage. Gaurav Wasan provided the address of ‘Baba Ka Dhaba’ at the end of the vlog and advised Delhi residents to visit the eatery. He also begged others to contribute so that the family may receive further assistance.

Oprah’s Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Interview

In a 2-hour show on CBS, Oprah Winfrey accompanied Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as they addressed racism and turmoil within the royal family. During the conversation. Meghan revealed she contemplated suicide in the interview, while Harry stated he and his family were “stuck” in an oppressive system. The internet was rocked by the revelation of so many dark truths about the Royal family.

You can’t even write “viral” without Avril Lavigne, and it’s easy to understand why, given her wonderful TikTok premiere. Avril’s first TikTok video paid tribute to Sk8er Boi, a fan favourite from 2002. To fully rework her masterpiece, she paired together with a genuine “skater boy”: Pro-skater great Tony Hawk, who is also wearing the tie, co-stars with the pop queen, who has recreated her iconic necktie and loose black shorts for the clip.

Parallel to how their song ‘Stay’ has taken the internet by storm, TikTok’s ‘ToTouchAnEmu’ has gone viral with the dance. While his drone gets some fairly stunning photos surrounding his housing complex, he has made many movies utilising the song that have each received millions of views.

Never thought that a man could be best friends with a lioness right? TikTok went iral with a video montage of the enormous beast jumping up and cuddling her guardian Valentin Gruener. Rather than fighting Gruener, the lioness hugs him and gives him a thorough hug before snuggling him like a pet cat.

Khaby- Wing mirror

You must be familiar with Khaby Lame as a social media user! He is now a viral sensation not only on TikTok, but also on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. During last year, Khaby Lame has become one of TikTok’s biggest viral hits, dominating the platform with his famous comic material. The Wing Mirror video, which became his most popular, is one of his most seen videos.

Covid patient singing ‘love you zindagi’

In the COVID-19 crisis department, Dr. Monika Langeh tweeted a video of her 30-year-old patient swaying to the Love You Zindagi song from the movie Dear Zindagi. Her incident went viral after she was seen dancing to the song’s beats to lift her spirits. She sadly died as her condition deteriorated. On Twitter, many were heartbroken and lamented the death of the little youngster.
