7 Bollywood Upcoming Movies Releasing On OTT Platforms


Since the Corona pandemic, several films, which were due to release this year, have been shelved. However, to keep the public away from boredom, the film industry has finally taken the bold step of releasing movies on OTT platforms. Here’s the list of movies that are going to be released on platforms like Amazon prime, Disney+Hotstar, Netflix and more.

1. Gulabo-Sitabo

This Soojit Sircar directed film stars Ayushmann Khurana and Amitabh Bachchan in lead roles. The movie revolves around two men in a constant battle to be better than the other. In the process, they attract men from other clans having their own agenda. The film shall stream on Amazon prime from 12 June, 2020.

2. Laxmmi Bomb

This movie is a remake of the well known Tamil film, Kanchana. The film shows a ghost taking revenge on everyone who had wronged it in its past life. It might release on Disney+Hotstar but nothing has been confirmed yet. The movie stars Akshay Kumar, Kiara Advani and others.

3. Bulbbul

This movie is from Anushka Sharma’s production house. This film involves the horror genre and tells the story of a woman who was married when she was a child. She belongs from a village where tales of a witch circulate. The teaser is out and the film is slated to release on 24 June, 2020 on Netflix.

4. Gunjan Saxena-the Kargil girl

It tells the real life story of the first Indian woman pilot to fly a combat plane during the 1999 Kargil War. The film stars Jahnvi Kapoor, Angad Bedi and Pankaj Tripathi. The teaser for the film has been released and it is supposed to release on Netflix.

5. Shakuntala Devi

This film is a biopic of the real life mental calculator and writer, Shakuntala Devi. The film stars Vidya Balan in the lead role and the film is slated to release on Amazon prime. The audience shall see the bonafide actress, Vidya Balan, in a refreshing and interesting role.

6. Khaali Peeli

This film is an Indian romantic action film and stars Ananya Pandey and Ishan Khattar in the lead roles. The trailer for the film is available and it was supposed for a theatrical release on 12 June, 2020. However, due to the present crisis, we suppose the film shall have to be released on the OTT platforms.

7. Ludo

Ludo is supposed to be a film based on dry and dark humor. This unconventional film is directed by Anurag Basu and stars a glamorous cast of Abhishek Bachchan, Vicky Kaushal, Fatima Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, Aditya Roy Kapoor and several others. It is supposed to release on Amazon prime. Stay tuned to Amazon prime to catch this one hell of a movie.
