With an ensemble cast 83 is based on India’s historic win of World Cup in the year 1983. The movie was scheduled to release in April 2020 but was postponed due to the pandemic. The movie is co-produced by Kabir Khan, Deepika Padukone, Sajid Nadiadwala and Vishnu Vardhan. The movie was in hype right from the announcement and after the release of the release of first look the excitement for the movie has doubled among the audience.
3. Laal Singh Chaddha

Starring: Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Naga Chaitanya
Laal Singh Chaddha is a Bollywood remake of Forest Gump which itself is an adaptation of the Novel Forest Gump by Winston Groom. The movie was about to release during Christmas 2020 but now its rescheduled to release in Christmas 2021. For this movie Aamir Khan has gone through weight loss of 20 kgs for the role of his younger version. Aamir Khan is known as the Perfectionist of Bollywood because of his intense efforts and choice of scripts so this will be a movie worth checking out.
4. Jersey

Starring: Shahid Kapoor, Mrunal Thakur, Sharad Kelkar, Pankaj Kapur
Jersey is a remake of Telegu film Jersey released in 2019. At first Telegu actress RasmikaMandanna was to play the female lead and make her Bollywood debut but later she opted out and was replaced by Mrunal Thakur. Shahid portrays the character of a cricketer who resumes his game in his 30’s. Shahid even got thirteen stitches during a scene shoot. Kabir Singh was also a remake but it was a blockbuster hit in Bollywood and hence fans have high hopes from this film and Shahid.
5. Atrangi Re

Starring: Akshay Kumar, Dhanush, Sara Ali Khan, Nimrat Kaur
Dhanush and Anand L. Rai created magic on the screens with the romantic drama Raanjhanaa in 2013. This is the second collaboration of both and even Himanshu Sharma who is the writer of Raanjhana and Atrangi Re.The movie grabbed immense limelight during the announcement of the cast and the posters. The music of the film is composed by the legendary AR Rahman.
6. Bhuj: The Pride Of India

Bhuj: The Pride of India is based on the Indo-Pakistan War that took place in the year 1971. The movie is portrayal of the life of IAF Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik. The movie will be releasing on Disney+ Hotstar this year. The film features an ensemble cast and is written by AnhishekDudhaiya and Ritesh Shah.

7. Sardar Uddham Singh

Starring: Vicky Kaushal, Banita Sandhu
Based on the life of revolutionary freedom Fighter Uddham Singh, this movie was scheduled to release on the eve of Gandhi Jayanti in 2020. The movie is now postponed to release in 2021 the dates are still unclear. The movie portrays the incident of assassination of MichealO’Dwyer in London by Sardar Uddham Singh and the reason being seeking the revenge for Jallianwala Bagh Massacre. Vicky Kaushal after his film URI gained huge limelight and people love to see him in patriotic roles. Up till now only Vicky Kaushal’s look is revealed from the film.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is one of the most awaited sequel to Priyasarshan’s iconic Bhool Bhulaiyaa. The film was scheduled to release in July 2020 but now it is postponed to 2021. The film stars Kartik Aaryan in the lead who is known for his epic funny monologues in both the parts of Pyaar ka Punchnama.
9.Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai

Radhe starring Salman Khan in the lead is set to release in 13 May 2021 on the eve of Eid al-Fitr. Initially the film was scheduled to release in May 2020. 10. Gangubai Kathiawadi

GangubaiKathiawadi is based on a chapter of the book Mafia Queens of Mumbai by Hussain Zaidi. The film features the Bollywood debut of TV star Shantanu Maheshwari. The movie has significant cameos by Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi and Huma Qureshi. Initially the film was named Heera Mandi and Priyanka Chopra was chosen to play the lead but later on she was replaced by Alia Bhatt.
11. Bell Bottom

Initially the film was scheduled to release in Republic Day 2021 but it is postponed to 2 April 2021 with a worldwide release. The movie is set in 1980’s and depicts true events and the heroes of that era. The official teaser was released in 5th October 2020.
12. Bunty Aur Babli 2
