In this case, Yong-hu develops stigmata and goes to Father Ahn (Ahn Sung-ki) for answers. Hitting the most viewed category of Korean horror movies.

“The Divine Fury” has the action of a ring fight and the exorcisms of a religious horror film, but with flashy, well-choreographed dance moves.

Director Heo Jong-ho claims that “Monstrum” is based on a true story, which is technically accurate: Not long after a deadly plague swept across Korea, there was a rumour about something eating people.

Hyeon-su’s mother seems perfect to her – they seem to have a perfect relationship. But then, her friends begin to commit suicide by slicing their faces and complaining, “I’ll make you pretty.” Eventually, Hyeon-su comes to realize that her mom may not be who she appears to be.

The story evolves into a supernatural fiction that includes masks and pottery. “Cinderella” shines a light on the struggles Korean teenagers face, and the pressure they feel to conform to unrealistic beauty standards, in a country where beauty is defined by unrealistic standards.
