The IT crowd is a UK sitcom that premiered on Channel 4 on February 3, 2006, and ran for four series of six episodes each. The story is about three people- Roy, Moss and Jen working in Reynholm Industries’ IT department in London. Roy and Moss are both technicians, while Jen doesn’t know anything about computers and claims to be a relationship manager. The series also has Reynholm Industries’ owners: Denholm Reynholm and later his son Douglas.
IT crowd is full of wit, funny and also has a catchy phrase whenever someone calls IT to complain. Moss is by far the most important and the best character in the show. In 2006, the series was voted Best New British Sitcom and again in 2007, the series was elected Comedy of The Year at the Comedy.co.uk Awards.

The story is about a wealthy Rose family losing their entire fortune and being forced to live at a motel in a small town called Schitt’s Creek. The town was purchased by Rose on the occasion of his son’s birthday as a joke. The family now has to live with each other, adapt, work and socialize with the residents of the town.
The show’s humour, writing, and acting is wonderful; it also shows the character development of the characters at the end of the series. It has also won numerous awards, including two ACTRA awards, 18 Canadian Screen Awards and seven major comedy awards at the 72nd Primetime Emmy Award.

There’s also Penny, a beautiful, dumb waitress who lives in the apartment next door.
The sitcom is highly intelligent and geeky and has Star Wars and Star Trek references. The show was also filmed before a live audience, so has a laugh track. It was nominated for the Emmy for outstanding comedy series from 2011 to 2014 and won the Emmy for outstanding lead actor four times for Jim Parsons who plays Sheldon. In total, it won seven Emmy Awards from 46 nominations.
The sitcom also has a popular prequel show that came out in 2017 called the young Sheldon, which is based on Sheldon’s childhood in Texas.
